About Us

Our first time to meet was May 2020. Yep. Covid.  That didn’t stop us. It was a sunny Colorado day, so we decided to meet at one of the local parks and go for a hike.  Patty had her camera and snapped a few pictures along the way. Keith, for some reason, was impressed that Patty wasn’t out to impress. She was just snapping photos and doing her thing. Time passed quickly on that first hike, just telling our stories to each other of how we had arrived in life up to that point. We decided to have a bite to eat, so we called in an order to Panera Bread, both getting the Chicken Frontega sandwich.  We brought it back to the park, climbed up on a rock that looked out over the park and had a wonderful first meal together. 

 We hit it off from the get-go and were out exploring Colorado together almost immediately.

Fast forward, January 2021, snowshoeing in Colorado. Talk about a beautiful day in the back woods of Colorado:  snow, family, and friends.  It was epic. Keith on the sly had been planning to ask Patty to marry him. He decided it would be on the snowshoe day. Friends and family had parted, and Keith and Patty were on the way back to town. After a strenuous day of snowshoeing a good meal is definitely required.  Keith had a “great idea.” Let’s go get something to eat, Chicken Frontega, of course, and go to our park and our lookout rock and eat our sandwiches. By this time, it was dark, but Patty was always up for an adventure, so she agreed. “Fantastic idea!” All went as Keith had planned and Patty said, “Yes!”

Now, here we are in 2025, living “The Abundant Adventure,” with our Lord Jesus and one another.  Our driving force every day is to, “Love God and Love People.” That, in a nutshell, is what we are all called to do.

How we are called to Love God and Love People is different for all of us. For us, we do it, as we meet people along the trail, inviting them to come to church, or asking, even strangers, “how can we pray for you?” 

The idea of this website came about as a way to Love God and Love People. We love being out  in God’s beautiful creation snapping photos and meeting people. As we meet others, they often ask us, “how can we see your photos?” We really didn’t have a way to share what God has opened our eyes to see. So now we do, this website. We hope you enjoy the things that God shows us.  After all, He created all this, we just put a frame around it.
